Recommended Fluid

On C-5 transmissions, use fluid which meets Ford Motor Co. specification ESP-M2C166-H or type H fluid (or equivalent). On all other models, Ford Motor Co. specification ESP-M2C138-CJ, Dexron II, Series D, or equivalent must be used.
