Master Switch with Rear Door Windows

  1. With switch removed from vehicle, test with a self-powered test lamp or an ohmmeter. Clip one test lead on pin 3, which is grounded. With switch in neutral position, pins 4 through 11 should have continuity to pin 3. Push switch forward.
  2. All odd numbered pins of the switch should lose continuity to pin 3. Push switch rearward. All even numbered pins (4 through 11) should lose continuity to pin 3. Remove test lead from pin 3 and connect to pin 2 (power feed). With switch in the neutral position, only pin 1 should have continuity to pin 2.
  3. Pull switch rearward and hold. All even numbered pins should have continuity to pin 2. Push the lock-out switch to its detent position. Pin 2 should not have continuity to any other pin. If switch does not test as stated, replace.
