Servo Motor Assembly: Replacement

  1. Detach negative battery cable. Disconnect glove compartment door stop and let door hang by hinges. Remove vacuum hose from servo motor and take out 2 screws from mounting bracket. Position servo to gain access to vacuum diverter valve.
  2. Remove retaining push nut and unplug multiple vacuum connector from diverter valve. Remove servo motor protective arm cover. Remove push nut retaining servo motor overtravel spring and arm link to blend door crank arm. Remove servo assembly from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure.
