Movable Steering Columns: Operation

Tilt is controlled by pressing downward (away from the steering wheel) on the turn signal lever and moving the wheel upward or downward to one of the five positions. When lever is released, the lug on the column locking lever is indexed with the closest tooth on the locking index, holding wheel in the desired position.
