Mentor Training And Certification
Before a technician can formally begin as a mentor, he or she must be trained and certified. The "soft" skills and administrative duties required of the mentor must not be overlooked or bypassed. This certification can be instructor-led in an in-person classroom setting or online webinar. A certification exam should be administered and recorded in order to validate the mentors' comprehension of key competencies. Use the mentor program workbook created and the required qualifications as the basis for the mentor training and certification class.
