Icon Definitions

Icon - An "object," usually accompanied by a graphic representation, used commonly in computer-based programs to identify and activate functions within the software program.
Graphic-Only Icon - Icon with an embedded picture or graphical representation of the function associated with the icon.
Graphic/Text Icon - Icon with an embedded picture or graphical representation of the function associated with the icon as well as a text description of the icon function.
