	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel.	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove fuel tank.		147.10-D-4100TSC
2	Release and disconnect electrical connections (1).
3	Disconnect fuel line (2).		AR47.25-D-4100-01TS
		Clip: Illustration of various states for unlocking and locking the connector coupling with double lock on fuel line Catch fuel running out with suitable vessel. Damage will otherwise occur. Seal fuel line (2). Commercially available tools  Collecting pan	GB47.25-D-0000-00A

4	Remove holder (5).	Check bracket (5) for damage. If damage is present: ↓ Install new bracket (5).
	Clean
5	Clean area around locking ring (6) at fuel pump (8) and fuel tank.	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
6	Release locking ring (6).	To do this, position claw wrench on cutouts (7) and turn locking ring (6) counterclockwise. Ensure locking ring (6) is correctly locked (picture B). WIS Service Media  wsm://04_201901_10 Claw-type wrench	Fig 1
7	Remove fuel pump (8).	Do not apply any sliding compounds or lubricants to sealing ring. Leaks can otherwise occur. LU Fill level sensor is fastened to the fuel pump (8). Replace sealing ring. Observe installation position of the catch (10).
	Clean
8	Clean sealing surfaces at fuel pump (8) and fuel tank.	Use a lint-free rag.
9	Install in the reverse order.
