| 3 | Disconnect electrical connections (4). | ||
| 4 | Remove screws (2) of clamping claws (3). Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process |

| 5 | Remove fuel injectors (1) with sealing rings and clamping claws (3). | Fuel injectors (1) must be stored vertically (connections facing upwards) and not placed on their sides. It is thus prevented that air gets into fuel injectors (1), as this could result in engine starting and/or engine running problems during reinstallation. See Parts Information for stop plugs to be used. Replacement part number: A 000 982 89 09 Install new sealing rings and coat injector shafts with special grease. |
