Check Fuel High Pressure Circuit - AR07.03-P-1010-04MM

Engine 133, 139, 152.9, 157, 176, 177, 178, 254.9, 256.9, 260, 264, 270, 274, 276, 278, 282 

NOTES Check fuel system for leaks after repair work on high-pressure fuel circuit.

A damaged fuel system can lead to leakage and personal injury, damage to property or to the environment.

IMPORTANT Engine 270, 274 in model 117, 156, 172, 176, 204, 207, 246 with code 924 (Bivalent natural gas drive)

After exchanging fuel system components, use the vehicle diagnosis system to perform an initial startup procedure. Also perform an engine test run of approx. 1 min without load at an engine speed of 1500 to 2000 rpm.

After connecting the vehicle diagnosis system carry out the following steps:

Menu items

Vehicle selection →

Drive →

ME-SFI [ME] control unit (MED40CNG) →

Actuation - selection of the operating mode

Then follow the menu guidance and process.

IMPORTANT After exchanging fuel injectors perform a mixture adaptation using the vehicle diagnosis system.

IMPORTANT After connecting the vehicle diagnosis system carry out the following steps:

Check fuel high-pressure circuit after doing repair work

Then follow the menu guidance and process.
