Remove/Install Coolant Temperature Sensor - AR15.60-P-2712MSA

Engine 256.9 in model 213, 238, 257, 290

WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover.   AR01.10-P-2405MSA
2 Drain off coolant.   AR20.00-P-1142MSA
3 Release and disconnect electrical connector o coolant temperature sensor (B11/4).    
4 Remove screw (2). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, temperature sensor bracket to cylinder head *BA15.60-P-1001-02MRT 
5 Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) with bracket.    
6 Install in the reverse order.    
7 Read out and delete fault memory.
