	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
	Notes on repair work on suspension components		AH00.00-P-0100-01A
	Notes on safety-relevant components		AH00.00-Z-0019-01A
1	Remove corresponding front wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
2	Remove air deflector plate from tie rod (1).	Model 290 with engine 177
3	Counterhold tie rod (1) and loosen counternut (2). Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths		AH00.00-P-0015-01CW
		It is essential to counterhold the tie rod (1). The tie rod (1) will otherwise be damaged. After loosening, do not turn counternut (2) on inner tie rod (4) any more.
		Jam nut, tie rod to inner tie rod	*BA46.40-P-1002-01P
4	Remove nut (3) and remove tie rod (1) from steering knuckle.

Notice	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts	The ball head must be counter held and an impact wrench/driver must not be used. Otherwise the ball head or steering knuckle may be damaged.	AH00.00-P-0001-01KOA
		Self-locking nut, tie rod to steering knuckle	*BA46.40-P-1001-01P
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Measure
