Certain electronic systems now onboard trucks, truck tractors and trailers generate data that would be helpful to persons doing accident reconstruction. To be useful, this information must be collected, stored, retrievable and defined such that it has a clear meaning. This RP applies to the various factors impacting information gathered during an incident event, its storage and retrieval.
