Remove/Install Upper Front CROSSMEMBER For Hood Catch - Ar88.00-D-2303TS

	Risk of burns and scalding when handling hot fluids and components they come into contact with. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes when handling hot fluids.	Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. Pour hot fluids in suitable containers only.	AS00.00-Z-0033-01A
	Remove/install
1	Remove seal (2).
2	Remove stop buffers (3, 5).	If upper front crossmember (1) will be replaced.
3	Remove air filter housing.	Model 907 with engine 642	AR09.10-D-1150TSV
		Model 907 with engine 651	AR09.10-D-1150TS
4	Remove coolant expansion reservoir (9).	For this purpose, unclip coolant expansion reservoir (9) from upper front crossmember (1) and place to one side. Do not remove coolant hoses.

5	Remove hood catch lower section.		AR88.40-D-3201TS
6	Detach hood cable at upper front crossmember (1) and position outside the working area.
7	Remove front bumper.		AR88.20-D-2000TS
8	Remove front lamp units.		AR82.10-D-4733TS
9	Remove condenser fan unit.	Model 907 with engine 642 Model 907 with engine 651	AR83.30-D-0007TS
10	Remove covers (6).	For this purpose, remove electrical wiring harnesses at covers (6) and unclip covers (6).

Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing AdBlue (R)	Pour AdBlue® only into suitable containers. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system. 11	Remove hoses (11) at NOx reducing agent tank. Notes on avoiding damage through contamination and foreign objects		AH00.00-P-5000-01A
	Notes on use, material properties and handling of NOx reducing agent	Plug openings. Otherwise the exhaust gas aftertreatment system can be contaminated, which can lead to malfunctions of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system.	AH49.20-N-0002-01A

12	Remove electrical wiring harness at upper front crossmember (1) (arrows) and position outside the working area.
13	Remove radiator unit (8).	For this purpose, release engagements (10) from radiator unit (8) of upper front crossmember (1).
14	Remove upper front crossmember (1).	For this purpose, remove screws (4, 7). Bolt, crossmember for hood catch to front upper longitudinal member	*BA88.00-N-1001-05TS
		Bolt, crossmember for hood catch to front upper inner longitudinal member	*BA88.00-N-1002-05TS
		Bolt, crossmember for hood catch to front longitudinal member	*BA88.00-N-1003-05TS
15	Tilt upper front crossmember (1) forwards.	Helper required.
16	Remove radiator unit (8) from upper front crossmember (1).	For this purpose, lift radiator unit (8) out of upper front crossmember (1) and place on longitudinal members Helper required.
17	Remove upper front crossmember (1).	Helper required.
18	Install in the reverse order
	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
19	Check hoses (11) at NOx reducing agent tank when the engine is running for leaks.	Visual inspection only.
