Operation step 8

	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Remove
1	Mark installation position of the hinges (2) on the hood (1).	If the hood (1) is reused.
2	Remove air inlet grilles from the hood (1).		AR88.40-D-3001TS
3	Remove hood (1).	To do this, remove screws/bolts (3). Helper required.
4	Disassemble hood (1).	If a new hood (1) is installed.	AR88.40-D-3002TS
	Install
5	Perform cavity preservation process for hood (1).	If a new hood (1) is installed.	AR97.20-D-1500TS
6	Assemble new hood (1).	If a new hood (1) is installed.
		Do not install hood (1) yet.	AR88.40-D-3002TS
7	Install hood (1).	Screw in bolts (3) to do this. Helper required. Screw/bolt, engine hood to hinge If the hood (1) is reused, ↓ Observe installation position of hinges (2).	*BA88.40-N-1001-01TS
8	Adjust engine hood (1).	Check that the installation position of the hood (1) is correct. An incorrect installation position will cause damage to the front fenders and hood (1) when the hood (1) is closed. WIS Service Media  wsm://04  201900_37	AR88.40-D-3020TS
