Remove/Install Front Bumper - Ar88.20-D-2000TS

Shown on left side of vehicle 

	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
2	Remove radiator grille		AR88.40-D-4001TS
3	Remove outside temperature sensor		AR83.30-D-8104TS
4	Unscrew bolts (2)
5	Raise vehicle		AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
	Special instructions for lifting and supporting vehicle		AH00.60-N-0100-01TS
6	Remove covers (arrows)	Screws (3) are located under covers (arrows).
7	Remove bolts (3)	Screw, step plate to crossmember	*BA88.20-N-1002-01TS
8	Remove expansion rivets (6, 7)	Remove expansion rivets (6, 7) on both sides of vehicle. Check expansion rivets (6, 7) for damage. Depending on findings ↓ Replace damaged expansion rivets (6, 7).
9	Remove expansion rivets (4, 5)	Check expansion rivets (4, 5) for damage. Depending on findings ↓ Replace damaged expansion rivets (4, 5).
10	Remove bumper (1)	For this purpose, unclip bumper (1) on both sides from brackets. Helper required. Check brackets for damage. Depending on findings ↓ Replace damaged brackets.
11	Remove bumper (1)	Helper required. Model 907 with code JB6 (Parking package with 360-degree camera) Model 907 with code JB7 (Parking Package with reversing camera) Model 907 with code L13 (Fog lamp with cornering light function) To do so detach electrical connectors.
12	Install in the reverse order

13	Perform function check for PARKTRONIC	Model 907 with code JB6 (Parking package with 360-degree camera) Model 907 with code JB7 (Parking Package with reversing camera)
14	Adjust front fog lamps	Model 907 with code L13 (Fog lamp with cornering light function)	AR82.10-D-1132TS
