	Removing, installing
1	Disconnect the ground line of the vehicle electrical system battery.	Typ 900.6; Typ 906.6/7	AR54.10-D-0003SD

2	Remove the lower part of the housing for the electric step.		AR88.30-D-8501TS
3	Detach the securing clip (2) of the corresponding connecting rod (1) from the guide pin (5) and remove the washer (3).	Pay attention to the location of the washer (4). Instead of the securing clips (2), spring cotter pins can optionally be installed.
4	Dismantle the securing clip (6) of the corresponding connecting rod (1) from the bolt (9) and remove the washers (7).
5	Remove the corresponding connecting rod (1) with the respective bolt (9), the washers (8) and the sleeve (11).	Note the arrangement of the washers (8). Otherwise the electrical step (10) may malfunction.
6	Install in reverse order.

7	Carry out a functional check of the electric step (10).
