| 2 | Remove the lower part of the housing for the electric step. | AR88.30-D-8501TS | |
| 3 | Detach the securing clip (2) of the corresponding connecting rod (1) from the guide pin (5) and remove the washer (3). | ||
| 4 | Dismantle the securing clip (6) of the corresponding connecting rod (1) from the bolt (9) and remove the washers (7). | ||
| 5 | Remove the corresponding connecting rod (1) with the respective bolt (9), the washers (8) and the sleeve (11). | Note the arrangement of the washers (8). Otherwise the electrical step (10) may malfunction. |

| 6 | Install in reverse order. | ||

| 7 | Carry out a functional check of the electric step (10). |
