	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only present on vehicles with CODE 889 (Keyless-Go).
2	Remove left cover below dashboard	MODEL 166 MODEL 172 with TRANSMISSION 722
		MODEL 166	AR68.10-P-1500GQ
3	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from brake light switch (S9/1)
4	Unscrew safety screw (4) and remove brake pedal from clevis (5)	The safety screw (4) must be replaced.

5	Detach electric parking brake switch from instrument panel lower part (6)	MODEL 117, 156, 166, 172, 176, 242, 246
			AR42.20-P-0505W
		Do not disconnect electrical connector from electric parking brake switch.
6	Unscrew nuts (2)	MODEL 166 Guide tool (01) for unscrewing upper nut (2) though opening (arrow) of instrument panel lower part (6).

7	Remove pedal assembly (1)
8	Install in the reverse order
