The basis for the following adjustments are the previously determined deviations between the actual and specified values.
Shown on model 205.4
Adjust in X-direction
- Position door lining on left and right front door and connect electrical connectors to front door control unit switch group.
- Lower side window until screws (4) are visible (assembly position of side window).
- Remove electrical connectors on front door control unit switch group and door lining.
- Loosen bolts (4) and adjust front side window in x-direction.
- Tighten bolts (4)
- Position door lining on left and right front door and connect electrical connectors to front door control unit switch group.
- Completely lower front side window and then move again to upper end position.
- Disconnect electrical connectors on front door control unit switch group and remove door lining.
Adjust Y-direction
- Adjust side window in y-direction by turning bolts (8).
Carefully position tool.
Otherwise the side window can be damaged.
Adjustment in Z direction
- Loosen nuts (5) on bolts (6).
- Adjust inclination of front side window by turning bolts (6) with
socket wrench.
Otherwise it is not possible to immerse uniformly when closing front side window.
One rotation of a bolt (6) results in approx. 1 mm of adjustment path in z-direction.
- Screw nuts (5) tight.
