	Remove/install
1.1	Remove front engine cover	Engine 276.9 in model 172
1.2	Remove upper engine cover	Engine 276.8 in model 172 For removal of the Hall sensor (B6/4) and the Hall sensor (B6/5).
2	Remove left engine air intake duct upstream of the left air filter housing	Engine 276.8 in model 172 When removing the Hall sensor (B6/6).
3	Remove right air filter housing	Engine 276.8 in model 172 When removing the Hall sensor (B6/7).	AR09.10-P-1150RKA
4	Remove intake manifold (1)	Engine 276.9 in model 172 For removal of the Hall sensor (B6/4) and the Hall sensor (B6/6).	AR09.20-P-1961W
5	Remove air filter housing (2)	Engine 276.9 in model 172 When removing the Hall sensor (B6/7). Bolt, air filter to cylinder head cover	*BA09.10-P-1001-01M
		Bolt, air filter to air intake pipe support brace	*BA09.10-P-1002-01M
6	Release and disconnect electrical connection from Hall sensor (B64)	When removing the Hall sensor (B6/4).
7	Release and disconnect electrical connection from Hall sensor (B65)	When removing the Hall sensor (B6/5).
8	Release and disconnect electrical connection from Hall sensor (B66)	When removing the Hall sensor (B6/6).
9	Release and disconnect electrical connection from Hall sensor (B67)	When removing the Hall sensor (B6/7).
10	Remove screw/bolt (3) on Hall sensor (B6/4) and remove Hall sensor (B6/4)	When removing the Hall sensor (B6/4). Installation: Replace sealing ring. Bolt, camshaft Hall sensor to cylinder head cover	*BA15.10-P-1006-03E
11	Remove screw/bolt (3) on Hall sensor (B6/5) and remove Hall sensor (B6/5)	When removing the Hall sensor (B6/5). Installation: Replace sealing ring. Bolt, camshaft Hall sensor to cylinder head cover	*BA15.10-P-1006-03E

14	Install in the reverse order
15	Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and clear if necessary		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
16	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Carry out an engine test run, checking the engine for proper operation and leak tightness	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
