Remove/Install Fuel Level Sensor - AR47.10-P-7000GQ

Model 166 with engine 157, 276, 278, 642, 651

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove fuel tank Model 166 with engine 157, 276, 278, 642, 651
Model 292 with engine 278, 642
AR47.10-P-4100GQ 
2 Remove left or right lock ring Model 166 with engine 157, 276, 278, 651
Model 166, 292 with engine 642
AR47.10-P-4100-02GQ 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Ring nut to fuel tank *BA47.10-P-1004-01J 
    SPECIAL TOOL Prong wrench Fig 3
3 Pry off fuel pump (M3) or transfer unit (1) with attached lines NOTES Do not deform float linkage (2).
The fuel level fill level will be indicated falsely otherwise.
IMPORTANT Allow escaping fuel to flow off into the fuel tank or catch it with absorbent rags.
 
4 Release and disconnect electrical connection (3)    
5 Remove left fuel tank fuel level indicator fill level sensor (B4/1) or right fuel tank fuel level indicator fill level sensor (B4/2) NOTES Do not deform float linkage (2).
The fuel level fill level will be indicated falsely otherwise.
IMPORTANT Lift left fuel tank fuel level indicator fill level sensor (B4/1) or right fuel tank fuel level indicator fill level sensor (B4/2) somewhat as shown using a SPECIAL TOOL wedge and push out of guide.

6 Install in the reverse order    
7 Clear fault memory using the diagnostic system    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
INSPECT Check     
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8 Carry out engine test run and check fuel system for leaktightness
