| 9 | Detach contact protection on circuit 30 electric line (4) | ||

| 11 | Remove circuit 50 electric line (5) from starter (M1) | *BA15.30-P-1002-01J | |
| 12 | Remove screws/bolts of starter (M1) | *BA15.30-P-1003-01J | |
| 13 | Remove starter (M1) toward rear | ||
| 14 | Unfasten charge air cooler and pull to the front with attached coolant lines | AR09.41-P-6819GQC | |
| 15 | Check ring gear at the drive plate for damage and wear | ||
In case of a complaint ↓ Replace drive plate. |
