| 1 | Remove rear door lining | Model 166 except code Z04 (Light armoring) except code Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version) Model 292 |

| 3 | Remove access opening cover (1) | ||
| 4 | Move side window to assembly position | ||
| 5 | Loosen bolt (3) | ||
| 6 | Close side window and secure with textile adhesive tape (2) | The bonding surfaces must be dry and free of grease and dust. Otherwise the side window can fall down and be damaged. |

| 8 | Remove door handle bases on bolts (4) | Model 166 | |
| 9 | Loosen screw/bolts (4) | ||
| 10 | Push bearing bracket (5) toward front and unhook | ||
| 11 | Disconnect battery ground line | AR54.10-P-0003GZ | |
| 12 | Unlock locking tab on left rear door electrical connector (X35/3) or right rear door electrical connector (X35/4) with suitable screwdriver and lift | ||
| 13 | Disconnect electrical connector on left rear door (X35/3) or electrical connector on right rear door (X35/4) | ||
| 14 | Unscrew bolts on electrical connector from rear door and remove counterholder | ||
| 15 | Unclip electrical connector on left rear door (X35/3) or electrical connector on right rear door (X35/4) | ||
| 16 | Unscrew bolts (6, 7) | ||
| 17 | Detach door module (8) | ||
| 18 | Unclip catch tab from line guide on electrical wiring harness and remove electrical wiring harness | ||
| 19 | Remove door module (8) | ||
| 20 | Install in the reverse order |
