| 1 | Open engine hood | ||
| 2 | Remove front engine cover (1) | ||
| 3 | Remove engine intake air duct upstream of air filter | ||
| 4 | Remove purge line from cylinder head cover | For removal of the LH exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/6). | |
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connection on LH intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4) or RH intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/5) or LH exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/6) or RH exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/7) | ||
| 6 | Remove screw/bolt (3) and pull LH intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4) or RH intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/5) or LH exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/6) or RH exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/7) out of the cylinder head cover | *BA15.10-P-1006-03E | |

| 8 | Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary | ||
