	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003RK
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
2	Remove poly-V belt		AR13.20-P-0001RKB
3	Remove lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105RK
4	Disconnect electrical connection (1) at the alternator (G2)
5	Remove electrical line circuit B+ (4) at alternator (G2)	To do this detach cap (2) and unscrew nut on alternator (G2). Nut, circuit B+ to alternator	*BA15.40-P-1002-01F
6	Remove screw/bolts (3) of alternator (G2)	Bolt, alternator to timing case	*BA15.40-P-1001-01F
7	Remove alternator (G2) downwards
8	Install in the reverse order
