Remove/install Distronic sensor (DTR) - AR30.30-P-1010RK

MODEL 231 

with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS)

NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with code (889) KEYLESS-GO.  
2 Remove front bumper   AR88.20-P-2000RK
3 Unlock and detach electrical connector (1) on DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89)    
4 Unscrew nuts (3) and remove electric controller unit DISTRONIC (A89) from bracket (2)    
5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Perform adjustment of the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) using Star Diagnosis    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   IMPORTANT Adjustment of the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) is necessary after:
  • - replacement
  • - detachment/attachment
  • - mechanical damage
  • - accident repair in front area
  • - alterations in the camber, track width, caster or of the level of the vehicle at the front or rear axle
