COMPLAINT

The navigation function intermittently cannot be activated in the Audio 20 control unit (A26/17) within one ignition cycle. When the complaint is active, no devices are recognized at the USB connector either.

The central display (ZAN) control unit (A40/8) shows the message "SD card with navigation software not detected".

CAUSE

Aspects of the multimedia interface (A90/5) hardware.

REMEDY

Replacement of multimedia connection unit (A90/5) in front stowage compartment.

NOTE: After an ignition cycle the multimedia interface (A90/5) functions again temporarily.

Replacing the Audio 20 control unit (A26/17) or the Garmin MAP PILOT SD card does not remedy the complaint.
