COMPLAINT
Side seat panel releases and no longer engages.

CAUSE
The material can change due to its properties. It becomes softer, so the clips can no longer apply the required holding force.
REMEDY
Vehicles as of VIN end number #A033108 are fitted with optimized panels as standard in series production. These can no longer work loose.
For all vehicles prior to this VIN end number, the optimized panels must be installed in pairs (inside and outside) in the event of complaints.
The following parts are required for color code 8L36 and are MADE TO ORDER/NON STOCKING parts: A20491801168L36, A20491802168L36, A20491803168L36.
