Remove/install ignition coils - AR15.12-P-2003CW

ENGINES 271 in MODEL 172, 204, 207, 212

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by contact with parts conducting high voltages. Do not touch parts which conduct high voltages. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should never perform any work on the ignition system AS15.10-Z-0001-01A
NOTES Notes on avoiding damage to ignition system   AH15.10-P-0002-01D
1 Remove engine trim panel IMPORTANT Grasp with both hands and pry off. Check gasket, replace if necessary.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT When placing the engine cover, ensure that the seal is correctly seated at the oil filler neck. The seal should not be pressed down by the engine cover, but must lie against the engine cover.
 
2 Disconnect connector from ignition coils (T1/1 to T1/4)    
3 Remove bolts (2) of ignition coils (T1/1 to T1/4) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA15.12-P-1002-01F 
4 Pull ignition coils (T1/1 up to T1/4) with spark plug connectors (a) upwards    
INSPECT Checking     
5 Check connector for ignition coils (T1/1 to T1/4) If damage is present ↓ AR15.12-P-2003-01P
    Replace ignition coil connector AP15.10-P-1580-01P
6 Install in the reverse order
