| 3 | Place front passenger seat with backrest on a clean surface | ||
| 4 | Remove cable ties (2) | ||
| 5.1 | Detach electrical connector (4) from right front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) | On vehicles with code (873) Heated left and right front seats or code (401) Front comfort seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation | |
| 6.1 | Detach electrical connector (5) from right front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) | On vehicles with code (401) Front comfort seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation | |
| 7 | Remove connector (3) from bracket and expose electrical wiring harness | ||
| 8 | Disconnect belt tension sensor connector (B48/3x1) and detach from seat frame | ||
| 9 | Remove bolts (6) and remove seat cushion (1) upwards out of side guides | ||
