Charge air temperature sensor, location In the intake manifold upstream of the throttle valve actuator
Charge air temperature sensor, task Measurement of charge air temperature. The signal is (together with the signal of the intake manifold pressure) used to compute the air mass.
In addition the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) monitors the function of the charge air cooling system
Charge air temperature sensor, function The NTC resistor integrated in the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) alters its ohmic resistance in line with the charge air temperature.
