Function
To be able to move to a stored seat position, memory 1, 2 or 3 in the seat operation seat group must be pressed and held depressed until the stored seat position has been reached.
If the button is released, the adjustment procedure is terminated.
The adjustment request is read in over the front door LIN from the door control unit and forwarded over the Interior CAN to the seat control unit. The seat control unit then actuates the corresponding motors.
At the same time as the driver seat is moved to the stored position, the steering column and outside mirrors move to their assigned stored positions.
