Remove/install WSS sensor - AR91.60-P-0810GZ

MODEL 164 up to model year 09 with CODE (494) USA version Only passenger-side front seat, left front WSS sensor and right front WSS sensor

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Remove front seat (1) on passenger side		AR91.10-P-1000GZ
2	Loosen connector block bracket (6)	Remove two bolts (arrow A) and place the connector block bracket (6) outside of the working area.
3	Unclip electrical connector from right front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/12) from circlips (arrows B)	Do not damage electrical connector on right front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/12).
4	Disconnect electrical connector (5) from WSS control unit (weight sensing system) (N2/13) (arrow C)
5	Unscrew nut (3) and remove bolts (2)	Install bolt (2) only with associated left front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/11) or right front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/12). Lightly grease bolt (2) before installing and hold when tightening nut (3).

6	Remove bolts (4)		*BA91.60-P-1012-01H
7	Remove left front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/11) or right front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/12) together with installed bracket (7)	Never loosen or remove bracket from left front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/11) or bracket from right front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/12)! This would render the left front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/11) or right front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/12) unusable.
8	Check plastic bearing (9) for wear and replace if necessary	If required, remove retaining ring (8) and drive out plastic bearing with suitable tool. Install new plastic bearing by hand and fasten with circlip (8).
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Calibrate left front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/11), right front WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/12), left rear WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/13) and right rear WSS sensor (weight sensing system) (B48/14) with STAR diagnosis system.	Plates	Figure
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
