	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge	All models	AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Read out coding of ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)	Only when replacing the ME control unit and if it can be still read out with STAR DIAGNOSIS.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove right front floor covering		AR68.20-P-2070GZ
3	Remove vapor barrier (1)
4	Unscrew nuts (2) and remove the bracket (3) together with the ME control unit
5	Separate the electrical connectors from the ME control unit (N3/10)
6	Pull out the ME control unit from the bracket (3)
7	Install in the reverse order
8.1	Code the ME control unit	Only when installing a new ME control unit.
