If the NECK-PRO head restraints were triggered in the event of an accident, the NECK-PRO head restraints on the driver and front passenger seats can be reset. To do this, the locking lever is pressed down until it is held by the driver NECK-PRO head restraint solenoid (Y24/12) or the front passenger NECK-PRO head restraint solenoid (Y24/13) (locking lever latches). The coil spring on the locking lever is under tension again. As soon as the locking lever is reset to is default position in this way, the impact plate (3) can be pressed back into its default position until is latches audibly.

IMPORTANT The locking lever can be moved downward with the aid of a resetting tool, which is included in the delivery scope of the vehicle. With the aid of the resetting tool, it is possible to mechanically reset the triggered head restraints into their default positions.
