Function 

The following functions can be operated manually by using the left door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S91/2) in the door panel:

• Electrically adjust driver seat position
• Save driver seat position
• Call up stored driver seat position

Additionally for code (242b) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory 

The following functions can be operated manually by using the right door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S92/2) in the door panel:

• Electrically adjust front passenger seat position
• Save front passenger seat position
• Call up stored front passenger seat position

When the driver seat position is stored and called up, the position of the steering column and the outside mirrors is stored and called up as well.

When getting out of vehicles up to 31.5.05 with easy entry/exit feature activated in the instrument cluster (A1), the driver seat is moved back and, after getting in, it is moved forward to the driving position. This function is omitted on vehicles as of 1.6.05.

The driver seat position is stored key-related on vehicles up to 31.5.05, in other words three memory positions can be stored on each transmitter key (A8/1). This function is omitted on vehicles as of 1.6.05. Only three memory positions can be stored that are not dependent upon the key.
