Remove/install sensor for sidebag/windowbag - AR91.60-P-0730SC

	Remove/install
1	Remove left and right front seat and lay down toward front with wiring harness connected.		AR91.10-P-1000SC
2	Connect ground line to starter battery and to on-board electrical system battery		AR54.10-P-0003SX
3	Remove left and right door sill molding paneling (1).
4	Remove vent grille (2)
5	Loosen side paneling in rear until floor covering (3) can be loosened in this area.		AR68.30-P-4780SC
6	Loosen floor covering (3) in rear area until left sidebag and windowbag sensor (A53/1) or right sidebag and windowbag sensor (A54/1) is accessible.
7.1	Unclip drive CAN potential distributor connector (X30/21) form air duct.	When removing left sidebag and windowbag sensor (A53/1). Do not disconnect drive CAN potential distributor connector (X30/21).
7.2	Unclip vehicle dynamics CAN potential distributor connector (X30/28) from air duct.	When removing right sidebag and windowbag sensor (A54/1). Do not disconnect vehicle dynamics CAN potential distributor connector (X30/28).
8	Unclip cable duct (4) in rear area.
9	Lift cable duct (4) and remove bolt (5) on left sidebag and windowbag sensor (A53/1) or right sidebag and windowbag sensor (A54/1)		*BA91.60-P-1005-01L
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
10	Disconnect electrical connector (6) and remove left sidebag and windowbag sensor (A53/1) or right sidebag and windowbag sensor (A54/1)	Installation:  Insert the journals (arrows) of the left sidebag and windowbag sensor (A53/1) or right sidebag and windowbag sensor (A54/1) in the inner longitudinal member.

11	Install in the reverse order
12.1	Read fault memory, erase if necessary	After replacing the left sidebag and windowbag sensor (A53/1) or right sidebag and windowbag sensor (A54/1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WE58.40-Z-1013-06A
