Function 

The electronic control and regulation of interior temperature, air volume and air distribution is accomplished by the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7) dependent upon the programmed settings and the following information:

• The interior temperature, measured by the in-car temperature sensor in the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7) and the in-car temperature sensor (up to 31.5.02) in the overhead control panel control unit (N70).
• The position of the tilting/sliding roof (on models 203.0/2 with code (414) Electric glass titling/sliding roof) or the Panoramic tilting/sliding roof (on model 203.7 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof), read in by the overhead control panel control unit (N70).
• The position of the windows, read in by the door control units (N69/1, N69/2, N69/3, N69/4).
• The air humidity, the ambient temperature, and the concentration of the pollutants, detected by the C-AAC multifunction sensor, read in by the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).
• The solar radiation with the aid of the C-AAC sun sensor (4 in total), read in by the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).
• The battery voltage, the coolant temperature, and the engine rpm, read in by the EIS control unit (N73).
• The ground speed, read in by the instrument cluster (A1).
• The pressure and the temperature of the refrigerant.
• The temperature on the evaporator, measured by the evaporator temperature sensor.
