Function

Three different seat positions each can be manually stored on the driver and front passenger sides.

IMPORTANT On the driver side, the instantaneous position of the steering column and outside mirrors are additionally stored.

There are two means of storing the positions:

The request is read in over the front door LIN from the respective door control unit and placed on the interior CAN. The seat settings are stored in the respective seat control unit.

Automatic storing

When the engine is switched off (as from circuit 15C) and the driver door is closed, the current setting for the driver seat and the position of the steering column and outside mirrors are automatically stored (last driving position).
