The left switch group and right switch group are located in the respective door panels.

Design of left switch group

The following switches are located in the left switch group: With code (223) Rear bench seat with electrically adjustable outer seats, lumbar support and pneumatically raisable head restraints

Head restraint adjustment switch (S55/1s1)
Seat cushion inclination switch (S55/1s2)
Fore/aft adjustment switch (S55/1s3)
backrest switch (S55/1s5)
Front or rear seat adjustment selection switch (S55/1s10) (right-hand drive vehicles only)

Function

By actuating the switch group, the adjustment requests are read in over the rear door-LIN from the left rear door control unit (N69/3) or the right rear door control unit (N69/4) and sent to the Interior CAN.
