Actuation
The call can be activated by pressing the MB-Info button (symbol letter "i") in the MB-Info and telediagnosis button group (S93/6) for longer than 0.5 s. Activation of the system is indicated by the corresponding LED in the MB-Info and telediagnosis button group. This is connected to the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) by discreet lines. A voice connection to the service center is established by way of the emergency call system control unit.
MB-Info call
If this service is authorized and a higher priority service is not active, the emergency call system control unit sends an SMS to the service center. Any telephone connections active are interrupted for this purpose. The following data are conveyed:

- Customer identification data
- Vehicle identification data
