| Steering angle sensor (N49) and steering column module (N80) form one component and can only be replaced together where necessary | |||
| 1 | Remove clock spring contact | AR46.10-P-0200TA | |
| 2 | Remove bolt (1) | ||
| 3 | Unclip retaining lugs (a) of steering column module (N80) from carrier plate (5) | ||
| 4 | Pull out steering angle sensor (N49) from carrier plate (5) | ↓ Turn inner race (2) of steering angle sensor (N49) counterclockwise as far as the limit stop (turn gently against the limit stop, risk of damage), then turn clockwise approx. two revolutions until the arrows on the steering angle sensor (N49) and inner race (2) match up. |
