COMPLAINT
Flashing Process for Transmission Control Module Executed Incorrectly / Not at All
CAUSE
If you are experiencing difficulties flashing the transmission control module in the above model vehicles, the issue may be that the electronic ignition switch (EIS) erases CAN frames at high bus loads.
REMEDY
To resolve this issue on the following affected EIS part numbers, remove the fuses of the engine control unit (N10/1f48, N10/1f53, N10/f54) and ESP control unit (N10/1f56) from the front SAM control unit (N10/1) during the flashing procedure.
