Locking/unlocking pneumatically, function - GF80.20-P-4016R

MODEL 230 

The bi-pressure pump operated by an electric motor, is integrated in the pneumatic control module with combined functions (A37)  . It produces pressure  or vacuum  depending on the request. The pneumatic control module with combined functions (A37)  is able to pressurize the pneumatic elements of the doors, of the fuel filler flap and of the trunk lid either with pressure or vacuum.

Globally unlocking: 

The central locking  pneumatic elements of all the doors are pressurized with vacuum  and unlocked.

Selectively unlocking : 

Only the central locking  pneumatic elements of the driver's door and of the fuel filler flap are pressurized with vacuum  and unlocked.

Opening trunk lid 

The central locking  pneumatic element of the trunk lid lock is pressurized with a vacuum  as the result of which the trunk lid lock  opens unless it is secured by the lock cylinder having been turned to the 90° position. The trunk lid locking switch (S134)  is read in by the pneumatic control module with combined functions (A37)  for this purpose.

Locking : 

The central locking  pneumatic elements of the doors and of the fuel filler flap are supplied with pressure  as the result of which all the doors, the trunk lid  and the fuel filler flap  are locked.
