Heated seats switch-over function - GF91.30-P-2002QB

with CODE (873) Electrically heated left and right front seats 

with CODE (401a) Front luxury seat, incl. heated seat and seat ventilation 

Function prerequisites: 

• Heated seats HS [SIH] are switched on.

Manual switch-over via the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) 

• Pressing the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) one time activates stage 3 of the heated seats HS [SIH]. The left front seat heated cushion (R13/1) and the left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2) or the right front seat heated cushion (R13/3) and the right front backrest heated cushion (R13/4) are actuated with 100% heat output. All 3 LEDs are actuated in the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or in the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).
• By operating the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) again, the system is switched to stage 2 of the heated seats HS [SIH]. The left front seat heated cushion (R13/1) and the left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2) or the right front seat heated cushion (R13/3) and the right front backrest heated cushion (R13/4) are actuated with 60% heat output. 2 LEDs are actuated in the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or in the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).
• Actuating the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) again activates stage 1 of the heated seats HS [SIH]. The left front seat heated cushion (R13/1) and the left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2) or the right front seat heated cushion (R13/3) and the right front backrest heated cushion (R13/4) are actuated with 30% heat output. One LED is actuated in the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or in the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).

The different heating stages are implemented through pulsed actuation of the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2, R13/3, and R13/4).

Automatic switch-over of heating stages (timer control) 

The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) implements the timer control for the heated seats HS [SIH]:

• Heating stage 3 remains on for 5 min. After that, the system automatically switches to heating stage 2.
• Heating stage 2 remains on for 10 min. After that, the system automatically switches to heating stage 1.
• Heating stage 1 remains on for 20 min. After that, the heated seats HS [SIH] are automatically switched off.
