Parking lamp actuation, function
Operating procedure
The exterior lamp switch (S1s1) of the light switch module (S1) is set to the
"Left parking lamp ON" or
"Right parking lamp ON" position.
- The front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) registers the applied position of the exterior lamp switch (S1s1).
- The front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the parking lamp in the left and right front headlamp unit (E1 and E2) and simultaneously sends over the CAN interior the "Left or right parking lamp ON" signal to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
- The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the taillamp and parking lamp (E3e2 and E4e2).
