Emergency alarm system trigger button, location/task/design/function - GF82.25-P-4100P

  Emergency alarm system activate button position The emergency alarm system actuation button (S62/6) is installed above the pedals in the driver's footwell. The exact installation position may vary depending on customers' wishes.  
  Emergency alarm system activate button task Activating the emergency alarm system, the taxi emergency call. Depending on the variant coding, an acoustic/visual feedback signal is not sent when the emergency alarm system is triggered. The "silent alarm" and the "taxi emergency call" proceed unnoticed.  
  Emergency alarm system activate button design The emergency alarm system trigger button (S62/6) consists of a button with a single-terminal contact switch that closes the circuit to ground.
A pull-up resistor is additionally installed connected in parallel to the sliding contact (100 kΩ).
 
  Emergency alarm system activate button function On actuation of the emergency alarm system actuation button (S62/6), an input of the special vehicle multifunction control module (SVMCM [MSS]) (N26/9) is grounded via a discrete lead.
