  Infrared receiver, location   GF80.20-P-4101-01S 
  Infrared receiver, purpose Infrared receiver signals from remote control key.  
  Infrared receiver, design The infrared receiver consists of one IR sensitive semi-conductor component with active electronic actuation circuit.
The receiver is concealed behind a filter panel in the door handle.
 
  Infrared receiver, function The infrared receiver converts the signal from the remote control key (A8/1)  into an electrical signal. The electrical signal is read in by the left front door control module (N69/1)  or right front door control module (N69/2)  . The information contained in the signal is sent as a CAN message by the door control module.
