DTC Description

Fault Memory & Actuation Of MIL - After 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault.
Frequency Of Testing - Once per journey.
Checked Signal Or Status - Intake manifold absolute pressure.
Limit Value - The intake manifold vacuum must drop by at least 54 mbar during exhaust gas recirculation.
Duration Of Test - Approximately 2 seconds.
Test Conditions - No fault in electrical actuation of Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) vacuum transducer (Y31/1), no fault in intake manifold pressure sensor (B28), inertia fuel shutoff active, engine speed approximately 900-1700 RPM and constant and altitude less than 8203 feet (2500 meters).

NOTE: If conditions exist, the intake manifold absolute pressure is measured and exhaust gas recirculation is then briefly actuated.
