ME-SFI ignition ON function - GF07.61-P-3005GS
ENGINE 111.951 /952 /955 /956 /957 /958 /982 /983 with CODE (925) low emission EURO3
Functions with ignition ON:
- Supplying voltage to the ME-SFI fuel injection and ignition system through the relay module (K40), fuse and relay module (K40/4) or front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
- Actuating the fuel pump for about 5 s as a full running protection (partially audible).
- Indicator lamps in the instrument cluster must come on (bulb check)
- At ignition ON, data transfer over CAN databus (e.g. for drive authorization)
If the fuel pump does not run, first of all test the fuses at the fuse and relay module (K40/..) or front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) for voltage supply of ME-SFI control module, as well as the fuse of the fuel pump.
Model 170: Test crash relay (K56) if indicator lamps in instrument cluster do not come on.
