Delivery Rate

NOTE: When checking fuel delivery, use an approved container larger than 1.1 qt (1L).

Disconnect fuel supply line at fuel rail. Place end of fuel supply line into an approved container. Connect jumper wire between ME-SFI control module connector "A" terminal No. 3 and ME-SFI control module connector "C" terminal No. 29 (socket box terminals No. 3 and 21). Turn ignition on for a maximum of 35 seconds. Fuel pump volume should be 1.1 qt (1L) over 35 seconds. If fuel pump volume is okay, test is complete. If fuel pump volume is not okay, possible causes are fuel line restriction or faulty fuel pressure regulator. Repair as necessary.
